Job Responsibilities:

• Lead, co-ordinate and manage the overall financial planning & analysis activities as well as help the management achieve the financial strategic goals of Aarong in line with the BRAC mission and values.
• Driving the annual operating and capital budget for the organization and all its Strategic Business Units (SBUs).
• Ensure budgetary control via monitoring the capital investments with proper budget allocation, relocation, and documentation.
• Provide monthly business update reports consisting of financials, P&L analysis and other KPIs of consolidated and SBU-wise performance.
• Ensure monthly forecasted financials for informed management decisions by coordinating with SBUs and functions.
• Perform feasibility analysis for investments such as new outlets, properties, infrastructure upgrades, expansion of functions and revenue driving activities such as retail campaigns.
• Perform monthly general ledger reviews to ensure the alignment between budgeted expenses and their entries.
• Leading as project manager for various cost improvements as and when required.
• Ad-hoc basis financial analysis or reports as per management requirement for decision support.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so

Qualifications:

Education:

A Graduate from any reputed university

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Practical knowledge of business analysis tools
• Practical experience on budget preparation, variance analysis and implementation of budget
• Automated financial and accounting reporting systems
• Sound knowledge on Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Tax, VAT, Treasury
• Basic knowledge of International Accounting Standard (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
